Inspections conducted by the health unit in London, Ontario Canada have found some barbers are reusing razor blades when shaving the faces or necks of clients.The health unit warns that doing so has the potential to transmit blood-borne infections such as HIV or hepatitis. Health officials advise anyone in the area to contact the health unit if they have had a shave at a barbershop. If reused razor blades are suspected, blood tests should be done now and in six months' time.
